Chris Becker – 2010 Individual Champion

When playing the Hippodrome course the chance of an extremely windy day is not “if” but “when”. Well today was that day. Halfway through the first round, strong gusts began blowing over team tents, tournament flags, and player’s discs.

Chris Becker - 2010 Individual Champion

Despite this additional challenge, Chris Becker of the University of Oregon fought through adversity and triumphed over the strongest field yet for the College Championships. Careful disc and shot selection was key to avoid the many obstacles on both courses. Chris was able to best the field and earn the title of Individual Collegiate National Champion.

In addition to awarding the National Champion, the top eight players earned the designation of First Team All American by finishing in the top eight positions.  Second Team All Americans were the next eight best (positions 9-16 of the 95 player field).
